my stories with Justen and Jeroff Trizidad, Nivenh'Mia and Mir'iam a'Del Nor go over a 20 year period. I've decided how Jeroff is going to die(running away from an army of baddies with Niv, Mir and Justen, who are firing arrows at them, and he takes an arrow to the heart when he looks back to taunt their chasers) but I doubt I'll ever get to those stories, even though they are, or were, planned out on titan pad. I'm not sure if I lost that info when titanpad deleted pads that hadn't been used in a while... if they were, I'll just have em last forever. I had a thread planned where Justen would die, but Ayrowa joined that thread(not written, but in note form) so his death isn't coming in anything I've written so far. I think Nivenh'Mia actually dies in that same thread, killed by Justen or Damon because she's being controlled by something evil.

Tyrax would end his story the same way he's managed to hold his life together - by himself. He'd either pick up some lost cause and deliberately get himself killed, or just go the quicker route and do it himself. Eventually, he'll forget how to lie to himself, forget how to laugh when he has no reason to, and give up, because sadly, that's who and what he is.

Jasin would die. There would be no glory. There would be no last stand. There might not even be a funeral, much less a burial. He would die doing something that nobody but maybe the Hall knows about. He wouldn't even get a proverbial star on the wall.

~ahem... So, assuming you've read AMoL, how does your last thread go now?

Now rather than lone wolfing it, I see Saowynn participating in the actual battle, either with her fellow Aes Sedai or along with the Domani contingent, before riding off into the sunset. Happily ever after? Guess that would depend on who else survives.

Well I know that if it was Gawyn's last thread he'd spend the whole thing thinking about Egwene, right before he went off to do something stupid.

Really though, I'm not bitter that that particular character has wasted roughly two hours and sixteen minute of my life. At least I'm going to keep telling myself that.

Otherwise (grumble) I'm really enjoying the damn book.

I will make the best out of it and try to draw the best out of my characters.
